*1 package fresh chicken breast tenders
(or frozen chicken breast tenders, defrosted)
OVEN METHOD:
Evenly space chicken tenders in the oven on a drying rack.

For a conventional oven, set to lowest setting (about 150F). If you have a convection/dehydrator oven - set it to dehydrator.

DEHYDRATOR METHOD:
In a counter-top food dehydrator, evenly space the chicken tenders, staggering the placement in each tier so that air flow is good. Turn to the MEAT setting or set the temperature at around 150F.

Let chicken tenders dehydrate, turning every few hours.

How long it takes to fully dehydrate the chicken tenders will depend on the humidity and altitude in your area. Here in BC, it generally takes 6 -7 hours.
